I Want a Job

I thought of this while taking a shower

And had it all finished

In less than a half hour

I want a job writing advertising

Stuff that makes you feel better

While you’re supersizing

 

I can motivate people

With a few phrases

A good ad. Informs

But it’s the questions it raises

That peaks public interest

In whatever you’re selling

And gets them to listen

To the story you’re telling

 

I can write jingles for Pringles

Or help the March of Dimes

You tell me the products

I’ll come up with the rhymes

Or maybe your story

Should be written in prose

It depends on the product

And how the market grows

 

It doesn’t matter to me

It’s what you think is best

Just give me a task

And I’ll pass your test

The first one is free

Then we’ll talk about money

I can make people cry

Or laugh at something funny
