I truly attest

My friends are the best

They make me feel good inside

Sometimes we play games

We gave each other nick names

Other times, we go for a ride

 

When I'm with my friends

The fun never ends

If we're at work or we are at play

Sometimes, we go for a walk

Or just sit and talk

We always enjoy the day

 

When I was a child

I was a bit wild

That cost me a friend or two

But some are still near

I hold them so dear

I'm lucky to still have a few

 

They are friendships I've earned

Through lessons I've learned

Finally, I know how to live

It's not what you got

It's not what you get

Life's about, how much you give

 

I believe everyone on this planet can make a contribution. If you help a little old lady cross the street, you have made significant a contribution to the world as a whole. If you give one of those people on the exit ramp the loose change in your cup holder, you've helped your fellow-man. So what, if he's going to spend it on booze. You're not going to cure his alcoholism by not giving it to him. By giving it to him, you will alleviate a little human suffering. Hi, my name is Randy McArthur. If I was in the running for Miss America, my goal would be to eliminate ALL the pain on the planet. I want to share my story with anyone that will listen. I used to be-the guy that would tell you to get a job. Now I'm the guy that would try to find one for you.
